He was also named first team all-conference and is the first player in Nevada history to be named first- or second-team All-Mountain West two years in a row. Junior Seau was inducted posthumously to the Hall of Fame last year. He committed suicide in May 2012; research on his brain showed signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which has been linked to concussions related to sports.He spent 20 years in the league, 13 of those with the  Chargers.
